OK SB, I thought you must be on to something so I took another look, this may or may not be where you were.
In Vista.
Right click desktop
Select "Personalise"
Click on "Windows Colour and Appearance"
At the bottom of the colour chooser window, click on "Open Classic Appearance Properties for More Colour Options"
Proceed as for XP. i.e. click on Advance, choose Icon, select Icon properties.
All very nice but I couldn't choose Icon title colour here either. I have tried different Windows Themes but the colour is still locked.

I am just trialing The Opera web browser, I have been using Google Chrome but it's been playing up a bit. I read about Opera in the Computer active magazine. Once in Opera I clicked on Opera Turbo. It does I must say seem very fast. The crazy thing is I am typing faster too. This does appear to be very good. SB

No SB, never had the urge. I ought to try all these alternatives on a junk laptop sometime, just for a laugh.

I must say, so far our forum is working well in Opera and is very fast. When I clicked on opera this morning BT came up immediately.
I don't think we should have BT displayed anywhere as an artwork Logo. as it is a copyright Logo for another well known company I can see them getting touchy. As my head would be on the block I must ask for that to be removed please.
Otherwise many thanks to VM or all improvements.

SB, unless we move into telecommunications or otherwise attempt to pass ourselves off as British Telecom, or use their prorietary logo designs then we aren't breaking any laws.
They can't copyright letters of the alphabet, only the specific and unique designs that they have registered as trade marks.
We could always send it to British Telecom legal and ask them for their grounds to object.
Of course, If you still want it replaced I will do it tonight, in the meantime perhaps Signman would be good enough to remake him with "Smilies" instead of "BT" ?
