RE: WATCH DUN TODAY. - 3

After a long day of torrential rain yesterday, it looks a bit promising today, even tho' the forecast says different.
Maybe get out today with the cameras, fed up of being stuck indoors for the last 2 days and have nothing in the pipeline workwise.

Morning SB. it doesn't it's open all the year round, it can no longer be classed as a family holiday resort, they are only interested in conferences and such like.
There is nothing for children apart from Peter Pan's playground which is smaller than most peoples back garden, and a mile walk from the pier, which is the only amusement most people get at extortionate prices, you have to purchase vouchers for every ride and most rides require 2 or 3 vouchers, which works out at about £3 per ride.
The last time I took my grand kids on there(about 8 years) I spent £50 in just over half hour.
The pier is owned by the Noble Organisation who are the biggest robbing b*******ds in the country.
Brighton Council testerday cancelled the annual street festival in may which has been running for years, to concentrate more on gay pride, I always leave town that week in August-'nuff sed'.

I've just had some April Fool fun. I told the girl at the cafe in the Bull Ring that St Martins Church was Broke and had to close.
She told five people while I was there. Will probably be on the news tonight.

SB. good job you reminded me didn't realise it was April 1st., got to change my calendars, and think up a ruse for someone.

I've just sent 6 e-mails telling people the Pier burned down last night.

I have to admit, when I take my younger grandkids and now great grandkids away on holiday once a year. Brighton is not the first place that springs to mind. It's pretty good for adults but I don't think they want the family trade.

It was a glorious day yesterday, so where did I go, the pub.
Spoke too soon about work, had 3 little jobs come in, suffering today, can't take it like I used to.

The booze, I used to drink 20 pints a night every night of the week, any more than 15 now and I suffer.

I don't drink a lot these days, I have recently took an interest in real ales. The Wellington in Bennets Hill is an excellent old style pub (They do have a website) although it's only about five years old. They have I think about 18 real ales, I have started working my way through them. You can also take your own food into this place.

Looks like another day indoors, tipping it down here.
SB. I can't stand real ale to me it's like warm gnat pee, a drink has to be cold for me, that's why I stick to the buds, and kronens.
