Well that's my signwork finished for the day, weather has brightened up, so out on my mountain bike for a bit. Here's a couple of signs I've been working on.

You must be a very talented man, do you do all that neon bending as well? The most technical thing I ever did was to bang a sledge hammer against a wall.

Talking about glass work my father in law was a glazier all his life except for a short interlude working on spitfire building during the war.
He was a marvel at stained glass and leaded light work. He was one of the people who did repair works to St Martins Church windows after the war. I often stood and watched him work for hours in his workshop at home when he was making leaded light shades for people.
When I see some of this generation doing the same thing today there is no comparison they have got every aid available. All that old Archie has was a bench a glass cutter and a gas soldering iron.

a rare day doing virtually nothing, just upgrading a computer for a mate, not much just more memory and a 2nd hard drive. It's tipping it down at the moment, so a bike ride or walk is out,I'm going to be bored out of my brains, will have to think of something crazy to put in my design gallery.

Today, well since Monday really we are having a bathroom converted into a wet room. I didn't know that there was so much work to it. I've got plumbers, electricians, plasterers and tilers running round the house.
That wouldn't be so bad but the keep turning off the electric and taking up floorboards all over the house. I have been turfed out of my office on a couple of occasions.
