Morning All

Did you know that the £20 note with Elgar on is going out of circulation on 30th June so get checking to make sure you have Adam Smith on your notes, thought that would give you all something to do today!!!!

June

It's soon done for me, I don't have any to check. To be honest I have little use for cash these days. I can have a note in my wallet for weeks and never have any cause to change it. If I need to buy anything I use my debit card. A mugger would be wasting his time with me.

On the Virgin Media front,.....
My first phone call went to "Sarah" in India, she gave me another number to ring which went to somewhere much more local. They passed me to Birmingham who have always rung me.
After many many line tests and eqipment disconnections at my end, involving BT and Virgin, the ADSL is finally back.
Currently running at 17mb per second downline, it is really quick, I expect they will turn it down to 8mbs/s before this excersise is over.

Hi Denise

It looks like they are going to put that Hitachi excavator on to that raft and dredge the pond. I hope they have got their calculations right and it doesn't sink. At around 16 ton I wouldn't like to be driving it. You would have thought they would have used one on wheels for that job. It would have been lighter and it wouldn't have been so much of a problem crossing the paved area.

Lichfield is one hell of a strange place.
It seems there is always something unusual occurring.
