Lovely Green Man Nick.

This guy is a very old Green man,he has been put onto the wall of the study centre at Lichfield cathedral..not sure of his original position.

He looks like he's had a bit of a rough life Denise!! Laugh!!! The poor devil!

I've been trying to find my picture of the cracking green man that hangs over the entrance to Green Man Passage in Dudley...... I recalled taking a few shots of him years back.... There's allegedly a lot of ghostie activity surrounding this passage - in the dentists office to one side, also the former Green Man pub the other side..... as well as in some (now demolished) buildings to the rear of the site!!

All the best,

Nick

Nice find Denise!!! There is some cracking stuff on Flickr at times!!!

We were out on an investigation last night - a place we've visited numerous times - and a church (which features in the haunted history of the area) has a stone head carving set in one of it's external walls. Every time we've visited, I've tried to get a decent picture of this face....... but can I ????? Can I heck!?!? I'm sure it's nothing paranormal, but I can just never seem to get a good shot of the face concerned!?!? There is some reasonable detail on it, to the naked eye - but every time I take a pic, the detail is either badly blurred, or washed out!?! (See below).

Hmmmmmm?????? Laugh!!!

Nick

Hi Nicholas, just a suggestion but are you zooming in on this piece to get closer. If so you may be better off taking a normal shot and blowing it up in your editor. SB

Hi SB - I've tried zooming, not zooming, standing on my head, etc, etc!!! Laugh, laugh!!! The pic I've just posted up is about the best I've managed and I've just cropped that from a larger image (taken from a small distance).

Cheers,

Nick

Nick, might I suggest that if you get another chance to photograph this particular face, you get someone to shine a torch across it in order to create some shadows and add depth to it.
better still would be a remote flashgun. I think the problem with the photo is that all the details are a similar colour and so it looks flat..

Nick, hope you don't mind I've tweaked your photos a little, there's not much in the first one to see, too badly worn.
Denise I haven't found any yet.
