A Lancaster Bomber flew over our house a short while ago.
It was very low, very loud and not on the runway flightpath, it must be from the Cosford Air Show that's on today.

just heard the rummble dashed out the back and just managed to snap it...dont know what plane it is though..

We had a second flyover a couple of hours ago and it was a Dakota.
The one in the photo has four props whilst the Dakota has two.
The Lancaster has vertical tail fins which the one in the photo does not have.

There is a Hercules at the show and I think that is what's in the photo.

I have just edited my earlier post Astoness.
I think it is a Hercules.

Picked up an RAF car mascot for a fiver so pleased with that though it was freezing at the boot early this morning.Also got another book,I get through them at a huge rate so always on the lookout for one I fancy.Had lunch at Morrisons ,huge portions and really cheap.After getting up at five cooking was not on the agenda.

good shot SB..been told that my plane is most certainly the B-17 flying fortress "SALLY B" sally b was memphis belle in the film..

Good morning everyone, watched a hell of a fight earlier a bunch of gulls was attacking a heron on a roof opposite, it put up a good fight until a couple of magpies joined in an went for its legs.

Good morning all. Well today i once again join the world of employment. Been out of work since november last year and someone has finally seen the advantage of having an old git like me working for them . When the new morrisons in sheldon opens i will be there to take your money off you. Beware people lol

Well done Pam and congratulations. Sheldon is full of old gits so you just look after them.
I don't suppose there is a job for lyn is there as they are hiring old Gits.
