Well I said earlier on today that I could do with some rain to help restore my back lawn after having tons of rubbish on it. I am now considering growing rice, it's getting like a Paddy field. By new shed came today it's having a bit of a Christening.

i am having a new bed...dropping down from a double to a queen size...dont need a double and i could do with the extra space...the one i have now is only 7 years old but its too low for me..so ive gone for a divan this time...only thing is i can store stuff under the one i have now so i have to now find somewhere to put the stuff or chuck it out if not really needed...will be tackling this this weekend

Well for a start she isn't ancient and never was. She died in 1962 aged 36.
She was not a Jessie, that term can only be applied to men as it implies an effeminate, weak, or oversensitive man.
She made a large number of films, entertained millions of people and made the studios a fortune in an open commercial market, so however much she was paid she had to earn it.

I think your remark would be more applicable to modern day footballers than a hard working model and actress from 50s cinema.

Well I can only say that when I had a garden stacked up with rubbish recently for a few weeks my lawn took a hell of a battering. All this rain and a reasonable amount of sunshine is recovering my lawn very nicely. I put a pile of new plants in a new bed this afternoon I think they will be grateful too.
But it would be nice to see a bit more summer now, lets hope.

Christmas will come soon enough, I should have had my next operation by then, a replacement ankle, it should be done within the next seventeen weeks, not looking forward to this one. It's only more complicated because of my Diabetes.
