John,
It certainly is a lovely view, but I think it demonstrates why the south coast around that area has never been popular for family holidays. That shingle beach, did not Brighton Council ever think of importing a few hundred thousand cubic metres of sand and spreading it along the foreshore.
There again its probably why you get more adult visitors to Brighton than family people and children, because there are few kids about.

Morning all,
Finished work for the day, just had late breakfast on the beach, another fine sunny very warm day here.
That photo would make a great Desktop wallpaper

If you look on top of the quote box you will see that "Zitat von" has been replaced by "posted by" and Ingmar from Xobor tells me that the few German phrases on the comments page of the picture gallery will be translated on the next forum update.

Morning one and all,
The sun is just rising above the horizon , with a pale blue sky permeated with fluffy wisps of pearl white clouds over an azure sea.
Mornin John
Blimey that was poetic. Thanks for rubbing it in it's a very grey morning here in Brummies Talking Homeland. I am off to make myself pretty for work and yes I know it's a very long job.
Have a very good day everyone. SB
