evening all...thought it may be and idea to use this space for general chatter like to say good morning..nighty nite or just to have talk about what we have been up to...saves us taking up space on other boards which is what i found myself doing this morning...lol...any how i will kick it off...went to the union pub thats in gerrrard st/nursery rd today to take some pics of the inside before its lost forever....its closing down in about 6 weeks or so ..it has been bought but will not be reopening as a pub so it will be gutted
..used to be one of me dads regulars back in the olds days...the landlady was so nice and even let me go upstairs with me camera..

Will this do you, I thought you might be more comfortable here.
Its a shame about the Union. I heard it was a good old pub in its day. I think I even may have used it once when I was dating a girl that worked a garage on the corner of Lozells Rd and Burbury Rd (I think it was).

This is Charlie who lives over the back from us, he takes a shortcut through our house because it is easier than going all the way around since he lost one of his legs in a traffic accident. He sits on the front step and calls until someone opens the door then he goes out the back through the cat flap. He sometimes stops for a nap on the way like in this photo.
