Nothing judging by the weather.
Yesterday I was working in the neon shop, and took these two snaps of a stray which has made itself at home for the last few weeks,
just walks in, jumps on the bench and dozes off, always in the same spot, sunny window, bet this is the nearest a cat and a chicken have got to each other.
I do enjoy all the different pics.
Well today is youngest Grandsons first day at school.Just waved him off and Mum and Dad have taken time off work for the great event. He looked so cute in his uniform and yes I am an adoring Nan LOL.
I hope life is kind to him.

Like ourselves our children and grandchildren will forge their own lives in this world. They will cope with this modern world much better than we ever could. Just be happy that they have not got to overcome the problems and hardships that we had to.

As you say Phil every generation has it's own set of problems. I'm sure they will get by.

Signman,
I've never had anything to do with Neon lighting, except perhaps the odd firemans switch years ago.
I didn't realise it was the sort of thing someone could make on their own account, I always assumed it would be the domain of big manufacturers.
So, as you say, I would love it in there, especially as I used to like bending glass tubes in my chemistry days.

After re-reading my post Phil it looked as though I was being flippant about this. It wasn't the case, I meant that they will hopefully cope as we did with whatever arises. SB

I didn't think you were being flippant, I am sure they will cope and get by. If they are prepared well and are up to it they will manage whatever the world throws at them.
Unfortunately as in so many previous generations there will be those that fall by the wayside and those that just fall. This more likely than not will be of no fault of their own, but as there is little that we can do about it there is no sense in worrying about it.

How you getting on with the kitty Sb?
Hope the new dog is feeling at home Phil.

My cat left home for 24 hours, she is outside at the moment sitting on top of the shed. The wife is trying to coax her down. I said just leave her, she will go into the shed when she is ready. She sleeps in there during the summer (her choice). The dog is settling himself in now, I took him for a good walk today. Which did us both good.
