I'm with John, Tizer was tops and if you remember they brought out an orange flavoured pop in the 50's Jusoda I think it was called in the same strange shaped bottle as Tizer. I had a bottle of Tizer just the other week and it tasted awful, do you think its my taste buds been ruined by the years of drinking all that whisky or do they just make it a different way today. It's probably the memory, combined with E numbers and the calorific values being altered to suit the European objective of spoiling just about everything we in this country used to enjoy.

What about the bloody awful tea, with tea leaves floating about in it, and if you sipped to near the bottom of the cup you got a mouthful Phil

Ah but if you hadn't had the Tea , you wouldn't have had the wonderful Caddymatic gadget that everyone had screwed to their kitchen wall. My sister still has hers and uses it.

SB Now don't come all over technical with me, what the hell is a caddymatic. Is it something to do with golf. Do people still use loose tea, when you can buy it in individual bags now? Phil

A Caddymatic dispenses tea at the push of a button. Yes you can get loose tea. If not just open some tea bags.

I don't need all that, I've got this chimp that makes my tea for me. I call her PG, but when she is within hearing distance I call her Dearest.

Do you think I'm silly, she can't even switch on the TV without help. Yet she can feed a child, cook dinner and iron a shirt all at the same time.

The trouble is she gets annoyed when I say "I can only do one thing at a time, I'm only a man".
