Good idea SB, although I thought Mothers started to falter a bit after Phil trashed the place. In more ways than one.

Don't worry mat no-one could trash the name of Mothers and Phil knows it. He just remembers the Locarno and a few dodgy birds.

As you say Phil, you didn't care about the venue or the entertainment. but we did and still do, as you say you wern't there. Believe me mate YOU missed out big style. Don't forget on other nights and different times we did what you did too.

Having just purchased a copy of the book mentioned earlier, "Mothers 1968 - 1971",
I can confirm that it is still available from the Central Library for £8 inc P&P.

If it's the book by Kevin Duffy, I have my original copy autographed by the author. There are three paragraphs in that book quoting me. SB

SB,
I found the Robert Plant one but I was just reading haphazardly, from the back forwards in my usual fashion, I'll have a proper read shortly.

It's dated 1997 with no evidence of being a reprint. I can't tell by comparison of course.
It has the old City phone numbers and so did the re-order insert.
The price on the back is £7.95.
The ISBN is 0-7093-0217-7
Barcode is 9 780709 302179

Does any of this differ from yours ?

No VM all details are the same. Unless a reprint is identical you have an original.
Your homework now is to find the three paragraphs by me. They have managed to spell my surname wrong, they have put an extra L in it.
