PJ

The thing is if the Doctor had said to me years ago pack it all in Phil and get a nice easy job as a pharmacist. I wouldn't be in the condition I'm in today.

I am sorry but you are all missing the point. Years ago they cost Two Shillings and you waited Five minutes. Now they cost over Seven Quid and you wait 40 minutes. It's all about value for money. SB

Well its belting it down in Solihull, it was snowing when I got up at 7.30 this morning and it hasen't stopped yet. It must be 75mm (3 inches to me) on the ground now and it looks like it will get deeper.

LOL.......all thawed out now

snow all morning...bit lighter now.

Going back to chemists. We have a Lloyds that serves the village and I am still bothered by this cold so went in this morning and the pharmasist did not recomend any of the potions due to my shopping list of drugs I have to take every day.She did not have to consult her computer and I was quite impressed by that.

Denise,
I've had a cough, and an on and off cold for twelve weeks, it seems like I have consumed gallons of linctus of one type or another, had a chest xray (all clear), had my doctor scratch his head saying "you'll have to have a camera down if these tablets don't work.
It took hold at the start of the wintry damp weather, and in the back of my head I get the feeling it wont leave till the spring, if I last that long.

Morning all.

This cold was on the way out and then bang back to the start again.Had it now since before christmas. The chemist said it is just the nature of the bug that is going round at the moment.

I have been taking high dose vitamin C and that normally helps but not this time.

Did not have the cough the first time round ,now coughing all the time Grrrrrr.

All we can do is eat well and keep our immune system in as good a shape as possible.

It would be a big help to get all the windows open to revive the air but it is so cold that is not an option at the moment.

Good luck PJ...........spring is coming soon .

A great cure for you. Three packs of EX LAX. You will be frightened to cough.
