Me? Going out?
Volty did venture out once, but he discovered that children were actually allowed into his world too, he was not amused. He spotted a couple of people sneezing he certainly didn't find that funny. He went home and drank two bottles of Domestos, they sent him clean round the bend.
Many people like to have a whisky and honey when they have a cold. Volty fills his Hot Water Bottle with this mixture, this means he can have a warm drink in the middle of the night.
He does wander out occasionally to go and have a drink with a very good and well respected friend, at a local but very exclusive club. This friend, unbeknown to Volty forwarns the club who in turn warns the other members. Up to now there hasn't been many other members in the club when Volty is in residence. Volty doesn't like crowds. He likes to be in full control of his own space. Come to think of it Volty likes to be in full control of everyone elses space too.
As I said Volty does go out on very rare occasions, but any peasant within a mile of Volty's route with any sign of Germs must be locked up so that it's safe for lord Voltman to be taking air.

He did really but you don't usually expect a 40 man (and woman) Sub Aqua club to immerse in a Gentlemans club at 9 Oclock at night in the middle of the week do you.

Good Morning All,
Wet and dismal here, I've got to stay in today as we are having a new floor laid in the hall. She wouldn't let me do it as she knows what I am like at carpentry.
Phil
Mornin Phil who is supervising, you or the wife?

Morning all, have been out surveying the damage after last nights heavy rain and gale force winds, surprisingly little, sun is now shining, and it promises to be a nice day.
Good excuse to do nothing all day Phil, you have to supervise and make sure the job is up to her exacting standards.

I'm only surprised she is not doing it herself.
