This should be in the funnies but I though it may give you all a laugh and it's clean.

I took my son out for his first drink.
I bought us a pint of Guinness each and he didn't like it, so I drank them both.
I bought us a pint of Lager each and he didn't like it, so I drank them both.
I bought us a pint of mild each and he didn't like it, so I drank them both.
I bought us a pint of Fosters each and he didn't like that either.
By the time I got to the spirits i could hardly push his pram.

Hope you feel better soon Steph.
What a horrid day weather wise.Lichfield has been lovely this weekend with singing carols in the market square,santa all over the place,extra markets.Proper old fashioned.
The hospice did a memorial service outside the Cathedral .........quite emotional that one.
Got the tree up and the deccies out and the house is a mess,no rest for me till later.
Got loads of extra hours to work this week too.

Morning all.

This old house is bloody freezing again.

Me tree looks fab so pleased with that.Jim set up my colour changing parcels under the tree before he went to work this morning......my hero.

More work today but my boss keeps putting tins of Roses on the counter so life has a meaning LOL

Scoff scoff........by the way......Roses are nothing like they used to be.

I'm off to see how the old Royal Mail pub in town is getting on. It's going to have a name change to the "Post Office Vaults" and it's going to be a real ale pub. Hoping to be open by 14 Dec

Yes Lyn, as I said it was the "Royal Mail" A cellar pub with a door in New street and one in Pinfold street. A friend I drink with is working on the pub, asked me to go up and have a look, must take me camera.
