Bought a nice old print of Hill street from the car boot today.

Still have the tooth pain....will be so glad when the Dentist opens in the morning.

Am I the only one around here that gets constant calls from 0843 numbers all wanting to sue someone on my behalf?

I always answer then press 5 while they play the recorded message. Then I wait in silence while they do their spiel, after which they hang up.
If we all did this these people would spend all day on silent calls and make no money. That should help to see them off.

Volty you can alwaya try my way, just hold the phone very close and laught at them, they soon go Away when they realise you are round the bend.

I get cold calls from abroad only, I registered with the TPS which is supposed to stop all domestic cold calls and my phone does not leave a record of the number when I call anybody. So as soon as I hear a foreign accent on the other end of the line I just hang up, the same as I won't deal with call centres that are based abroad. In those cases I either send an email or write.

lol...what i do is pretend im interested and ask them to let me know what its all about...i make all the right noises for a while..sometimes they are on for 10 mins then i say..i wonder if you could repeat all that please or call me back tomorrow as me hearing aid fell out..never hear from them again....
