went to worcester yesterday and had a lovely day. wandered up and down the 'shambles' where there is still a milletts shop, but soon to become a blacks. so nice to visit a city that still retains some of its old buildings, streets and alleyways. was quite warm. caught the bus to webbs at wychbold armed with my coupon to get 100 spring bulbs for 3.99. obtained them and peppermint and spearmint plants which seem to have chased the mice away. the mice were apparently long tailed woodmice, the females stay together until spring when they invite the males in to mate.
went over to my daughter in laws house to see grandchildren as eldest one started pre school nursery, he seemed to enjoy it.

had a nice walk around the arrow valley lake this morning, a bit fresh but nice.

well now i m a pensionser and have my bus pass i hop on and off buses all the time. might as well use it. off to the cotswolds on saturday to do a spot of walking,

I could have gotten a bus pass over five years ago now (at 60 so the wife tells me) Though I never bothered , so I don't suppose I ever will now. The wife has one and she uses it all the time, except when I am acting as a taxi ( a free one that is).

It may be worth getting Phil, You don't have to use it if you don't want to. Don't wait until you need it they can take some time to come through, I had to wait for four months, they send them out in batches.

I've thought about getting one for when we are on holiday as we tend to use buses quite a bit then because if we take the car off the hotel car park more often than not if its in the busy season you cant get back on. Then you have to hand out silly money for private and council car parks.

As I said Phil don't wait untill you need it, don't forget you can use it on local trains too.

phil SB is right..you should get yer pass even if you dont use it daily it will come in for when on holiday and for use on the trains..anyhow you are entitled to it...
