I remember snow in May in Devon and it wasn't 1955 it was 1963 when I was down there touring the south west coast on the thumb. It's no joke waking up in a sleeping bag covered in snow.

I remember the winter of 1963 (the Big Freeze) I was 13 and walking to school on that ice was lethal and it lasted forever.
