Non-essential to the present government means you are not going to die within a couple of days without it. They would like to make another part of the definition that you don't vote conservative, but haven't quite worked it out yet

To be fair Mike in the last two years I have had two operations. A knee replacement and an ankle replacement. I wouldn't have died without either but both of them are life changing for me. Ok so altogether these have been spread over two years but one had to heal before I could reasonably manage the other. These operations cost a combined £30,000 +. In my situation and personally I can't possibly knock the system. Some people could possibly wait a little longer, I couldn't. I couldn't walk very far and not without a stick. So although pre-planned. I have been repaired. The other part that you never hear of is that if your appointment is cancelled you have to have a new date within a certain time as mine was.
