Dead right Lyn, After three weeks it's still very painful to walk. Hopefully the stitches come out on Tuesday. Most of the pain is the bar going up my leg.

Good evening everyone, I tried to post on here last night but my internet was down.
My plaster is off and my stitches are out and I can honestly say I never felt anything at all, even though I was dreading it. I now have a monster big black boot which is incredible. With the boot on I can get around the house without crutches, I haven't been able to do that for three weeks. So now I have the Boot for four weeks so that the two parts of my new joint seat in together and hopefully pain free success.
Last night's storm was incredible I have to say even violent. The rain was just being thrown at the windows.

Presumably these are the sort of "non essential" operations that have been put on hold by people who earn over 4x the average UK income
