That is the origin of AC, but it was big blocks of ice back then, and they had to be delivered.

Evening everyone, not been on for a couple of days because I havn't been around much. Was out to a Birthday party on Friday evening then loads of shopping and painting doors for when the new carpet comes on Wednesday. Got loads more to do then I can cut my old shed up and order my new one, then I can at last start on my Model Railway.

havent you got rid of that shed yet sb.... did our painting earlier in the year..top to bottom job except for the living room which will be done in october just before we get a new carpet..the 2 years will be up on the old one then...

I have actually demolished my shed today and I a have to say the bloody thing fought me every step of the way. my God it was hard work, on a hot and sunny day too. I was extremely glad of a shower after, I don't think anyone would have come near me otherwise.

got a ruby celebration on sat night..looking forward to it as its for one of me old mates from down villa st...went to her 60th last year and it was great to meet all the moorhouse family again after so many years..

15rh or 16th black country museum 40s weekend

on 22nd got bhf 15th birthday meet up

date to be confirmed but hoping on 2nd of sept to have an old end meet up of people who lived in villa st..its amazing how many me and our kid have located and all without the help of facebook [Skipping Happy]

If you had thought this through I could have provided 18v power tools that will destroy anything, and a destructive assistant to assist.
18v DeWalt... Circular saw, Jig saw and Reciprocating saw with destruction blade.
We can turn anything into bin bag waste.

Thanks Volty but we did it more by bloodymindedness than anything else. Got a couple of Gorrillas with a couple of cage wagons to shift the rubbish, the beauty of these guys (giggle did I say Beauty) is that 18 stone of muscle (each) built of lager, fish and chips and curries is that they load every last splinter of it. Actually they make the average Docker look like nurserymaids.
