It is up to you whether or not you pay the service charge, in fact you don't even have to pay the whole food bill if you aren't finally happy with the food.
It just spoils the evening if you have to go into battle over the bill so most people just pay up and quietly seethe, this is why we don't eat out very often anymore.
There hasn't been much I have been served in the last thirty years that I couldn't have cooked better myself, along with the best service
and the most reasonably priced wine cellar to choose from I can't see any reason to leave home.

I partly agree with you, the best meals are always eaten at home, but it doesn't hurt to splurge now and again. The only problem being it can be very expensive these days.

Well this is it you start complaining and the evening can go all wrong really,I have only just joined this group so did not want to start going on in front of people I do not know that well.Oh well it was companiable and I enjoyed getting to know all the ladies a bit better.
Has everybody gone on their holidays??
Lyn.......come back
Denise
The trouble with our Lyn is, she's always up to one thing or another. She never seems to stand still as far as I can see. She needs to sit and take it easy now and again.
The other thing is, that idle folk such as myself, tend to forget there is a holiday season when those who have worked themselves to a frazzle get a couple of weeks to relax. Consequently it gets a bit quiet on forums such as this.

I havn't been on my holidays, Iv'e been attending a meeting until 8'30, but I am here now. Until the Bill finishes at ten anyway then I am orf up the wooden hill. SB

Good Morning Astoness,
There seems to be a problem with the site this morning, the graphics are loading really slowly.

Hi Lyn
Sorry to hear about your partner, but these things do happen and unfortunately there will be setbacks along the way. But I know from the way you have spoken in the past you are both strong enough to cope with whatever life throws at you. As always you both have my best wishes.

Phil,
I know you have almost all the pictures ever taken but I thought I should direct you here in case they have anything you don't have.

Evening all, after trying for an hour to get on Internet I have just succeeded and now I am sick of it and going to bed. Goodnight all.
