We killed of half the population of the world in our colonising days without even firing a shot. We just let those randy sailors loose wherever we went. The next thing you knew the natives were dropping like flies.

Funny that it happened here when the Vikings and Normans came.

Good evening you unhealthy lot.
Beautiful fine sunny day here today, been working on the Kings sign, just stopped for a bite to eat, chicken curry (homemade) and then back to the grindstone, should finish about 2 am, and then to bed until 4 ish and down the Waggon to do the Christmas window.
No rest for the wicked (I must have been a devil).
Well I'm puffed out just reading that Signman.
I'll be glad to get my strength back and have a go myself.
I haven't earned anything for 5 weeks, I 'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the taxman and all his dependants.

Probably not, it is a bit of a one way sort of arrangement.

Thats been my experience too , if you've been ill for two weeks or more it's got to be time to go to the quacks or at least a different electrical forum

Think of me, I haven't earned a penny for over five years, and I'm still not old enough for my Old Age Pension, and this lot want to put it up to 67 or is it 70? I'll be dead before I start to get my share back.

Ah, the quacks, that takes me back.
Once you start going to these places they don't let you go. Whatever your blood pressure is you can be sure it isn't right thus neccesitating a whole array of tablets, along with their side effects, and constant trips to the surgery to sit amongst the unwashed and catch things you can't spell.
No thank you.
I would try an electrical forum but electricians are all illiterate idiots and shouldn't be trusted with the time of day.

Phil, right from day one I assumed I wouldn't get a pension. If I didn't top myself at 40 I was convinced they would stop paying out just as my turn came.
Well I wasn't far wrong as it turns out, the age will just keep rising until the money runs out. I shall never catch up.
So it's back to plan B, work until I drop then go and live as a vagrant in Paraguay. There are Advocados (good with prawns and baked beans, washed down with Taitinger) and Mangos (good for nothing) just lying in the streets and it's always warm.

Another thing Phil, by the time I am 70 odd most of the population will be made up of gobby workshy mature students who never have to pay tax and bleed the system dry, there won't be any money for anything.
