Morning SB and anyone else up on this fine sunny warm morning, (and I'm not joking).
Good morning all
Had a nice evening out last night a nice meal with friends and a couple of glasses of wine after and good conversation. What more can you ask, I'm sorry the chippy was closed when we got home so no fish & chips.

You can add me to your list just put me and a guest, that will cover one of the others if they want to come. We will just have to see who can make it. I shall be looking forward to meeting you all.

Ahhhh how sad.
Bright and hot here. Even the pool is hot enough for a bath.

Good Morning Astoness and all,
Yes, having a great time thank you.
It will certainly be a shock coming back to the cold, but it has to be done so I'll just make hay while the sun shines here.
The cold water taps here provide water which has been heated up on it's way in from outside, so you have to turn the immersion heater off (no central heating boiler) and mix the water from the hot tap with the water from the cold tap to get it cool enough for a shower. The water in the hot cylinder is actually cooler than the cold incoming because it has been stored in the shade in a cooled building.
So it's back out into the garden now and perhaps a quick boil in the pool.
Volty.

Tell me something Lyn, is this club the place that belonged to the Buffaloes in the 70's and 80's because I went there a couple of times. It's OK I didn't get my ticket so I can still get in.

They didn't eat this one, too tough for them.
Lyn
I've got a pretty good idea that it is the old Buff club, I'll let you know when I see it.

ok phil...you wont recognise it from your day though..the inside has recently been refurbed..it looks wonderful now...our dad and me bro until a year ago played dominoes for the unity for years until it closed down for a while and the team moved to another venue...
