well i wish i was there phil...used to go to silverstone a mallory park at lot..just love the sounds..sights and smells of the track its so exciting [Skipping Happy] have a good day volty... im not doing much this weekend..just chilling out although i would be in the garden cutting down some shrubs but its far too cold for me.....

very funny phil yes SB wonderful atmosphere although its been many years since i went...i also liked going to the speedway and perry barr and since it re opened about 3 years back ive been promising myself to go but so far i havnt got round to it...wouldnt mind but its only about 8 mins on the bus from me....shame on me...

Just waiting until it gets dark, then going to take some photos of the ice rink, they've put in front of the Royal Pavilion,with festive lights, a bar and a restaurant, might give the bar a try.

look forward to yer photos john....i would love to give the skating a go although rollar skating is really my passion(no rinks in brum) [Crying] ...if you do decide to do that make sure you do it before you hit the bar....

Are there any roller staking rinks anywhere now Lyn ? Mind you i wouldn't be trying them. The only time i tried it i nearly broke my ankle

I don't think there are many rinks of any kind anywhere, mind you saying that I'm sure the ice rink on Hobs Moat in Solihull is still open for business. I dabbled at both roller and ice. I suppose you could say I was proficient at both but no expert.
