Hi. Just checking in to say hello to everyone and hoping for a nice gentle stroll down memory lane with a few pics and stories...if ever I master the uploading art with my Mac...

I'll echo the welcome John. but if he doesn't mean the computer Mac, I hope he keeps it buttoned up. [Silly Grin]

Hello all!
I'm Mike Spicer from Bracebridge, Ontario Canada.
I have the family history bug and I am wondering if I might come acrooss some distant cousins here.
My surnames of interest are SPICER, HANCOX and BERWICK, for starters. My information is the Sparkbrook area.
Wheelwrights and blacksmiths ..
Would be thrilled to hear from anyone who might assist. I've taken some virtual tours of street addresses I have. Wonderful to see some of my families dwellings are still there!

Take care,
Mike

Hi everyone. Was born in Harborne and lived there 22 years before moving away in 1961. Spent much of my childhood days in the two Cinemas and loved ever minute. Every saturday my mom, sister and I went to town and invariably ended up in the small animal area in lewis's. Could you imagine a store like that today with a zoo. Health & safety would have a fit. Am retired and enjoying life in Southend. Dave Groves
