More STUPIDITY for our wonderful masters

More Billions wasted, our Government shows once again they are just not fit for purpose. If you think that is party political neither was the last shower of money wasting and expense grabbing scumbags.

The trouble is probably a combination of several things:
1. The political leaders are usually technically incompetent. Legal training may be ok for performing crooked deals and conning everybody, but no good in deciding anything technical.
2. Their lackeys are only interested in getting on in their careers, and, as they move around every few years (the any mnagaer can do anything mentality) then they know any cock-ups will not effect them. they do not therefore plan whta thye want properly, and try and alter the system after agreeing a price.
3. The firms supposed to supply the systems are "optimistic" and putbin a low price to get the business, and think they can always get an increase later.
A solution would be to not allow any increase in the cost of the contract, other than inflation, and to make government employees and elected members more responsible for their decisions.

And Birmingham's new library is considered expensive.
At least we got a building.
Information Technology is largely ethereal, followed by repeated large bills for updated hardware.

Roll on may 2015 we never voted them in but we can vote them out. but what will they leave behind i dread to think.

As for the Lib Dems I can see them being swallowed up into the Tory party. It happened with the Liberals and Social Democrats. They are just another Tory party anyway.

And this lot only had to borrow 13 billion last month .

Very true but love her or hate her. One thing about Maggie, you could always trust her. No Matter how bad if she said she was going to do something she bloody well did.

Two things i admired maggie for,kicking the argies out of falklands,and not giving in to i r a hunger strikers.it is a pity so many lives were lost over the falklands.

If the government can borrow £ 13,000,000,000 per month with little chance of paying it back in our lifetime, then why can't I borrow a million per lifetime on the same terms?

Because you will die, whereas the government will not die, but, in theory can live forever - like a cancer cell
