It is unfortunately a very long time since we had a government that was fit to Govern. They are all out to line their own pockets and make names for themselves and then get on to the boards of rich companies.

AT last somebody's on our side,thames water wanted to put in place a 8 pc rise . ofwat said no chance,about time somebody stood up for the workers.Why can't ofgas and oflec do the same,dont know if these offices exist,but something like it does.Has it got any power to do it.

My point is not that we are peasants (well not all of us anyway) but that we are treated like peasants. We are governed as to how much we earn, those of us on PAYE have our taxes taken from us, while the rich fiddle (sorry pay accountants to check) their taxes.
while so many people can fill their pockets with hundreds of millions of pounds, there are going to be less and less people capable of earning a living wage.

Hi Jo I heard this but am I right in thinking that they are being allowed a 4% rise. maybe that's what they wanted in the first place but made it bigger because they knew they would be cut back.?

Nothing suprises me about big companys today,they are clever people fiddling the working man to line there own pockets

Sky news today M P called to explain his claim for energy bill for his home,stables and static caravan, on his estate, He said he made an error on his claim form. Another claimed travel expenses for attending a rememberence service in his own area.
