What's your favourite meal, sandwich.desert and tipple. I'll start it off, meal: cottage pie with anything,(would have it for breakfast, and have been known to.) sandwich :crusty bread, buttered, cold sliced boiled potatoes, sliced cooked sprouts, cheese and colmans mustard. desert: cherry pie and ice cream. tipple:gin and tonic(must be schweppes)'
As boring as it may sound, though I do like to try different dishes. I still really enjoy a full English Roast Beef and Yorkshire pud Sunday lunch with roasties of course and all the trimmings and nice rich gravy. I also still love good old Beans on nice thick crusty Toast with Brown or Tomato sauce ( Barbecue sauce is nice too). SB
If this was the best I could do. It wasn't good enough

The trouble is when you have the same company owning two brands of a similar product they are going to try by whatever method they can to get rid of one brand. Not long after Heinz bought out HP Daddies sauce became near impossible to get.
I think this was a ploy to get people buying HP again after people stopped buying it because of the takeover.
It annoyed me because I have always preferred Daddies to HP.
