Your wish is my command.
There have been similar reports as this over several years, but this one is the one that seems to have got the press's attention. What it says is broadly true . It is important to wash your hands properly after doing toilet functions. It is also true that many people do not do that, or, if they do, do it only perfunctually. I would add the proviso though that many establishments outside the home either do not make it as easy as it should , or make it impossible, to do so. . On a number of occasions i have commented in a pub on the lack of hot water and/or soap/detergent to use on the hands. I have also a number of times commented that it is an offenceto not provide them in an establishment that sells food, which most pubs do in some form nowadays. This is often greeted with a blank expression, followed by, yes i'll see to it . On one occasion, in Reading, they told me the soap dispenser that had broken was awaiting replacement about 3 times in a month. Mind you, that was in the infamous Yates of Reading, which later was featured on TV by a mole planted in the establishment , showing sausages taken out of the fridge every morning, left on the warm top over the day to allow the growth of suitable organisms, and then put into the fridge at night, being then just topped up each morning, so that sausages at the bottom of the container could be several weeks old before use. That was the item that stuck in my mind, but other practices were included in the program.
I would add. though that, going away from toilet contamination, many authorities believe the modern infatuation with evrything being virgin clean and polished is a possible cause of the increase in allergies in the population, as the complete absence in many children's experience of harmless dirt affects the response of their immune systems , which then reacts to to every little thing

Thanks Mike, mind you I think and often say that more Civilised society gets, the more Uncivilised it gets. The amount of Men I see in the toilets just run one hand under the tap ( and possibly not even the correct hand is beyond me).

Whilst I always wash my hands I do come away from public places feeling that I probably picked up something nasty from both the tap and door handle.
