Next time anyone thinks or H&S laws are over the top, remember this one. I don't think we do too bad. Our Government is cutting inspections.......Maybe. Just Maybe.

SB, I grant you that the HSE has done a lot of good for industry in this country, but the job is mostly done now. What we have now is a lot of overpaid employees sitting in expensive offices thinking up ways of justifying their jobs

I think the way we do things in this country is so different from the way things are done in Pakistan that comparisons are pointless.
They are never going to enjoy our level of health and safety at work, they simply don't have any in their everyday lives. Life has less value in such countries.
