Various shops, organisations etc buy the basic pig and decorate it and nominate a charity. The pigs are then put on a pig trail and people walk about to view all the pigs. People paid very high prices and a lot of money was raised for charity despite the pouring rain. Well done to all who took part and to Charles Hanson who made the event a lot of fun. I think they were made of fibreglass.
