Hi I went to Blakenhale school between 1952-55 and then went to Sheldon Heath comp.My teacher for the first 2 years was Miss/Mrs Breeze who was lovely. The last year was Mr Pearmaine who was also our cricket teacher.Raymond Smith was captain of our cricket team and we won the league and cup.We had two really good fast bowlers so I never got a chance to bowl as I bowled spin.I batted at no.9 and rarely got a bat as we were so good. The teacher said he played me for my fielding.Blakenhale was a brand new school when I went there.great times remember the fil club.

Welcome to the forum Westcott Boy.
My sister went to both of those schools, quite a few years after you were there.
Sheldonboy is a local and will no doubt have something to say about Blakenhale.

Welcome to the forum Taddy, you may find it a bit quiet at the moment as our glorious leader is having a brain transplant.
