Apparently now it is one dead and three "missing", hwich probably means 4 dead. It makes you wonder if they were going to demolish the building with expolsoives and they detonated early

According to the latest, from Didcot's MP, the building was being weakened ready for demolition in ten days time.
The description of it being a ten storey building is a bit misleading, it was 212 feet high. It was also 980 feet long, that's quite a lot of building.

I see the demolition contractors are Coleman & company of brum
they did a lot of work on new street station
