Your right there Phil great fun but they seem to have outgown them , I'm having a hard time to get them to play with anything except computer games . If the weathers fine and the garden not full of mud they will play football . Didn't have enough time to take them to the park today
Morning All.
Bernie,
I took a couple of my grandkids to a market Saturday, but nobody would buy them.

At least there is one thing, it's a lot more pleasant walking the dog.

Good afternoon folks. Can anyone tell me please, what was on the site of the Albany hotel,
( Now the Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre).
I do know it's 50 years old this year. John at work would like to know. Thank you.

Oh heck me poor dogs are locked in one of the bedrooms,I put them in there when I go out because they settle down for a kip and it is a warmer room.
Went to let them out and the handle is turning but not oprning the door, took the handle off and tried to turn the spindle but it wo't turn at all now.
Been messing about with it for ages.In the end tried to shoulder the door and all I have done is hurt me shoulder. So dogs still in there and waiting for Jim to come home as he has a stronger shoulder, poor things will wonder what is going on.
Fed up.

Is it an internal lock (is the lock within the door itself)? I'm assuming being an older type house it is a solid door if Jim just shoulders it then it might go or it might be his shoulder that goes. Myself I would take a sledge hammer to it and ensure it does enough damage so that the insurers have to fork out.

Hi Den if you can pull the square spildle out then you should be ablle to get a large screwdriver to wedge in opposite corners of the square hole and the door should open when you turn the screwdriver . Hope that makes sense .
