Good Morning You Lot.
Glad to see you have been having such a good time in the last few days, I've had to read six pages on this thread in order to catch up.
I have been playing catchup with my work since christmas and my job doesn't stop when I get home, so I forgot all about this place.
What I would have said if I had been here is.....
The period after Christmas is a strange quiet time.
Some of the trees I used to get conkers from 43 years ago, at the Swan end of the central reservation in the dual carriageway in Church Road, Yardley, have been cut down to make way for a poxy supermarket, I won't be going there, if it ever opens, and I have hexed the whole project for murdering trees.
I saw and heard two Herons circling our house Wednesday morning.
I'm mostly happy with our forum the way it is, not withstanding the need for natural progression as improvements occur to us over time.
It's very very windy here.
My best regards to you all.
Voltman

Its been a long time ago now, but do you remember how the wind used to rattle the old sash windows, on a bad night they could keep you awake all night or even wake in the middle of the night. What a blessing double glazing is.
