My Dads Mum used to cook Beef and I can still remember being called in from the Garden to watch them dip bread in the hot fat............wonderful taste.
At least the food was tasty Sunday dinners followed by my moms Rice Pudding, or a steampudding wth treacle on the top with a nob of Jam and nice right custard. Save me some Cholestrol.

Have you noticed that you don't get much dripping from beef joints these days. Why is that, is it down to the processing or is it because the meat is of better quality and contains much less fat now?

They do breed them to have less fat (which is why the average beef joint is so tasteless that it is not worth eating), but then to ensure they end up like leather when cooked anf tast a bit like it to, the butcher cuts most of what there is off.

just catching up with things, string through my ears should go through easily, nothing else in there.
been to friends house today waiting for a parcel to be delivered then they asked the gas man to call, so i got stuck in to doing some housework and a pile of ironing, i am knackered now, off to have a soak in the bath as tomorrow the 17mnt grandson descends on me for the day and we go to the soft play centre.
anyone else know the words to raa raa the noisy lion and do you know who 'oo ooh' is - i do. last week i was watc hing raa raa and it was very educational, does anyone know what a group of zebras are called and a group of giraffes.
answers are: a dazzle of zebras and a hall of giraffes, i ask you who makes them up, why not a herd.
off for my soak in the bath. hair not so red today has toned down a lot.
