It wasn't a deliberate mistake. He was just giving plenty of notice because he knows what women are like stopping off for a natter on the way to somewhere.

They even natter when they go shopping, I don't mind them blocking the aisle up so much. it's when they stand in the doorway. I don't mind not being able to get in so much its when I cant get out that annoys me.
