Good mornig everyone, ye really we and windy last night, had a bit of exitement about 9.30 last night a recovery wagon came flying up our road, hit the speed bumps and lost the car it had on its spoons. The car spun round and luckily came to a standstill. No damage or anyone hurt but it could have been so different.
Managed to get a late appointment with the GP and she confirmed I have a chest infection.Already the Amoxicillin are kicking in.My breathing was pretty poor.How lucky we ar to have these drugs but I was reading not long ago that these bugs would outdo the drugs and we will be back to square one.A hard one to believe but it is true.I
I had a run of chest infections a few years ago. Amoxicillin.and the combo version worked for me but I had some inconvenient side effects the last time. Don't forget to take the entire course Denise.
The reason the bacteria become resistant is that they don't get killed off completely in people who stop taking the tablets when they feel better. This produces bacteria with a working knowledge of an antibiotic. These bacteria then reinfect the same person or transfer to a new victim, but are now more resistant to the antibiotic they have previously had contact with.
