We had a hail storm here about 2 hours ago ,went so dark we needed the lights on.

We had some excitement this morning, my wife looked out of the window this morning around 5.30 and she said (The road is full of Police) Of course I thought she was exaggerating but when I looked I saw that she was right, there was at least nine cars and some more we heard at the other end of the road. Some police were in body armour and one or two had shields and there were dogs.
The all moved off around the corner at 6.00. It was a dawn raid on a local guy. Turns out it was to do with firearms and serious crime. Just the thing to wake you up and start the day

I have no problem with the Police, I used to be on a Police Committee. The problem I have is with persistent scumbag Politicians who keep cutting Police recruitment and funding.

They do a thankless job at the best of times and the stupid tories are asking them to do more with a lot less money.I for one will not be voting for them in the up coming elections.but a lot of people will despite all they have done to this country.

I am no mad Tory fan but Labour have no organised defence plan. I wouldn't trust them to defend my cat's litter tray.
