Darkness travels at the speed of light.
The sky is blue due to the splitting and scattering of white sunlight as it passes through the atmosphere, blue being the colour that scatters the most because it has the shortest wavelength of visible light.

Rubbish....The sky is blue because when the sea overflows, the excess water goes and sits up there until it's needed. Everybody knows that.

What I would like to know, is why when you ask most people a question. Do they usually answer "I'm not sure" when they havn't really got a flying clue.

I'm not certain.
Or worse still, I'm not 100%.
That annoys the hell out of me, I can see they aren't 100% of anything but what about the question?

Sound travels at about 760 MPH, which is 0.21 miles per second. So it travels just over 1 mile in 5 seconds.
So you divide your count by 5 to get miles.
