If you have CS6 then you won't learn anything here, we will be asking you.

CS6 generally involves you in the full range of human emotions. I so often forget how to do things and have to refer to the text books :-)

At last I'm getting to know my new camera, a Sony DSC-HX300. I'm well impressed with the 50x zoom and with the 20.4 megapixels it can take pictures almost in the dark without flash.
On board the camera it has a mode for de focusing the background, really useful for portraits and there is also an illustration mode. You take an ordinary picture and the camera turns it almost into a cartoon, like this.

Clever kit SB.
So clever it seems to have travelled into the future, the date on the brown box is 27th July 2016.
I also see PST on the machine, it is almost as if the camera has added the cartoonists signature and a date to add to the illusion.

I look forward to seeing more from this camera.

Believe it or not the date on the original picture is 22 07 2015, it has been changed in the illustrating process

This is one picture I have taken with my new camera. I was about 50 yards away about 20 feet up at tree.
A young Collared Dove I think.

We get Collared Doves quite often, Astwood. We had a pair a couple of years ago nested behind our satellite dish. They had a couple of youngsters we saw fly off.

We get quite a few Collared Doves. Also Stock Doves and Wood Pigeons. It seems they like the idea of safety in numbers and gang up as protection against the Magpies.

That's a nice shot, I presume a tripod wasn't needed?
