I;ve just realised what it is . its a rising sun, and shows the camera was made in japan !!!??

Morning folks, here's the answer.
It shows the film plane as it travels through the camera, and in a digital camera the position of the sensor, it's used when taking a measurement for close-up photography, many people think that you have to measure from the front of the lens, but you measure from this mark.
Another piece of useless information ha ha.

Had to slap my wrist, was really tempted to buy this, Gold plated miniature leica copy digital 5px camera £300, at just under 3 inches wide,
it's £100 an inch, would love it but don't need it, big boys toys etc.... or shall I .....

I have just bought a Nikon S8000 compact because I wanted a camera that I can carry around discreetly.
Pity these compacts don't have a viewfinder like my SLRs but I suppose I will get used to it.

Nice shots of the graffiti Signman. There's some interesting stuff in that lot as well as some truly awful.
I've seen some of Banksy's stuff and I think it is quite clever.
However a lot of graffiti it is just an eyesore, even if it is authorised.
I think taggers should be electrocuted along with the vandals who have defaced the streets of Lisbon under the graffiti art banner.
