The Floods

I'm off to Spain for three weeks soon ..... I'll think of you all, although the weather there isn't always too good in February :-)

Lucky you pal let's hope the weather is better then for you and us.

Bad Spanish weather is quite severe but brilliant to observe from the safety of a good strong building.
Especially with a bottle of reasonably priced Rioja Gran Reserva and some hot chorizo with crusty bread at hand.

More on the way tonight and apparently for the next fortnight. The residents blame the Chair of the Environment Department. I say sack him and Cameron how can they wait six weeks and then declare an emergency.

The government are a load of drips anyway, so they probably can't tell when it is raining

I can't tell when it has stopped raining. The pavement looks dry, so I step out and what do I see? Yes that's right, sky, grass, noisy motor bikes, cars driving on the pavement, trees, a passing indian peeing in the trees, flashing blue lights, sleeping policemen, girls screaming, kids fighting, wood pigeons procreating, all of the usual stuff, but, there are rain drops appearing on the pavement so I go back indoors.
