I can't imagine the misery of the floods. Having to walk around your house in wellies and of course the water makes it very cold. Mixed again sometimes with sewage.

I heard the funniest quote of the year last nigh,watching the News.
They showed the Prime Minister and his party all dressed up in Hi vis suits, Hard hats etc. The commentator said they were the "men from the ministry of silly costumes".. Coming from a national news item I had to laugh.
