Den I lived in Sheldon by Garretts Green College we could hear it from there on a quiet Sunday. Mind you with all the planes we have today we don't hear much else at all.

The Harlequin was my local as I lived across the road in on top of the Shard End shops, plus the fact I used to work in there as well I loved it. Best pub in Shard End

Let me think it was built on an old farm. I used it regular, we had lots of up and coming bands play there. We had top professional dart players come and play. I worked there. I played football for them. My dad played dominos for them The first landlord had his big toes cut off so couldn't walk properly apart from that you have me.

I'm not sure if the Heathway is still open as It makes no difference to me I wouldn't go in there I like to go in a pub and come out the same way. The only pub that I know is still open is the Trident corner of Timberley Lane and Bradley Road
