This has all changed from when I left school and went to work at NG Bailey.
The offices and training school were in Etna House, between Fox Street and Grosvenor Street.
It looks like there is a new street between them now, called Etna Street.
On the Fox Street side was Masshouse Circus, with the car park under the flyover. What a depressing dump it all was.

Now even Batholomew Row is gone.

Etna st ought really to be where HS2 erupts from the ground

The name Vesuvius is still available.
For Curzon Street read Pompeii and for Eastside read Herculaneum.

So where do we go from here. I should think a Volcanic eruption in the middle of Birmingham would make a few improvements?
