Do you get a good deal on wine in the Supermarket

Personally I don't drink a great deal of wine so I am no expert.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I would Agree with you but then we would both be wrong wouldn't we.

I buy a lot of wine. I have no idea where it goes but I buy it none the less.
As far as I am concerned the real price of a bottle is the lowest price i have paid for it in the last three years.
Do the supermarkets really believe that we are so shallow minded that we don't notice the sudden doubling of prices.
When my favourites are priced at £12 I just wait for them to come back down to £6, which is my usual maximum price. If they don't come down I do without, there are plenty of good cheap wines to be bought.
The only reason that the higher prices exist at all is because some people are fool enough to pay them.

The same is also true of food. Pukka Pies are not worth the £1.87 asking price. This is why they are regularly sold at £1. Who in their right mind is ever going to pay more than £1?

Incidentally, Morrison's are doing a 25% off deal, including those already discounted, if you buy six bottles. Only buy in lots of six though as they will rob you if you buy any odd bottles.
And don't accept the managers opinion that a missing barcode can be substituted with another product of similar price, because you will lose the discount on all six bottles.
I refer to one of the managers at Sheldon, who, in my opinion, is an impatient dickhead.

Of course not.
I already have a good stock of half price wine to see me through.
