[Silly Grin]Definatly lyn and use to do it down villa road as well weekend's,finish up with a few brusies but it didn't seem to bother us a lot.

Astoness I used to live above shops in Shard End and we had a great flat roof over the shops, and yes we used to pour water over at night and in the morning you had a great slide, only problem looking back if you made your slide to good there was about a 30 foot drop to look forward to but when you was young you didn't think.

I used to jump out of my bedroom window on to the front lawn.
The temptation is still there but it will have to wait until I retire.

Anyone remember toasting door step pieces of bread in front of the fire on those extending toasting forks then smothering it in dripping ,lovely grub.

most certainly do remember that jo...i can also remember doing baked spuds in the ash pan...tasted lovely..
