My favourite memory of food is having a mucky bacon and egg sarnie cooked on the back of a shovel from the crew of a Great Western railway engine on Snow Hill Station.I was about 13. What a treat.

They are Crumpets.
I would rather have a bit of Pikelet than Crum

I think it depends on where you come from in the north they are called pikelets in the south crumpets we are in the middle so you can call them what ever you like and you won't be wrong. ( Pikelets for me )

Saved my money bought a catapult once it was a good one,swapped it for a grass snake,my mother went balistic ran out of the house would'nt come back in ,dad said get rid of it now,had to give it back ,and he kept my catapult.,called himself a mate.
